Tiny cottage and cabins
For those of you who have come to know and love the folk school, and for those of you who are new, we have some great news!!
There has been a lot of planning, designing, and negotiating with the county this winter, and I'm excited to say that we finally have a permit in hand to begin building some additional lodging. These will be a tiny cottage and two tiny cabins that will be tucked into the gardens near the folk school and will be perfect for retreats and overnights stays combined with studio time or classes.
They will also provide a great chance to experience the farm, get an ecological farm tour and learn about all the ways we are shifting to perennial agriculture.
We are so very much looking forward to sharing them with you! In the meantime, you can still book a stay in the historic farmhouse. We'd love to have you.

In the Farmhouse
Room amenities: Each room has a queen sized bed, couch, study space, and wifi access. The Schoolhouse Gable Room has a microwave, mini fridge and a portable air conditioner. The Farmhouse Gable Room has a double fold out couch.
History of the FarmhouseMany years ago, Willow Grove School, a one room schoolhouse built in 1889, was brought to the farm and joined to the small original farmhouse. Remodeled more than 100 years after they were built, the joined buildings now serve as lodging for folk school participants and retreat guests. Two upstairs gable rooms provide both generous space and a cozy feel. The rooms share a small sitting room and a bathroom with each other, as well as a rustic kitchen with their hosts.
