Wet cyanotypes can produce an array of colors and textures that add depth and complexity to cyanotype printing. Using a variety of natural elements, there is an endless element of adventure and surprise.

Cyanotypes on Fabric
In order to create cyanotypes on fabric, we will learn the process of mixing the cyanotype solution and applying it to a sampling of swatches for printing. The swatches will be of uniform size to make them easy to use for your own projects at home.

Anthotypes
Similar to cyanotypes, anthotypes are a photographic process using the sun to expose the image. However, in this process, natural plant pigments are used, resulting in images in a range of colors. Exposure time can vary widely depending on your pigment and results tend to be impermanent. We’ll discuss the range of possibilities in this gentle craft.
